Truth or dare with your friends

With close friends, the best questions are about the friendship itself: the road trip that went sideways, the inside joke nobody can explain anymore, the friend who always leaves you on read. This page is built around that. The truths dig into shared memories and harmless confessions, and the dares are made for a living room on game night, a cabin weekend, a dorm room or a long dinner that nobody wants to end.

Ways to play

  • Phone in the middle. Take turns tapping Truth, Dare or Random and read the card out loud.
  • Call it first. Before someone answers a truth, everyone else guesses what they will say. Correct guesses earn a point.
  • Steal the dare. If you think you could do a dare better than the person who drew it, try. If the group agrees, you steal the point.
  • One veto per round. Each player can veto one card per lap of the circle, no debate. Keeps the night fun from start to finish.

How it works

  1. Gather the players

Sit in a circle and decide who starts. One phone in the middle is enough, or put the page on a TV.

  2. Tap Truth or Dare

On your turn, tap Truth, Dare or Random. The card comes from this page’s list, and anyone can pass.

  3. Pass the turn

Answer honestly or do the dare, then hand over to the next player. Prompts don’t repeat until the list is used up.

Any suggestions for improvement?

We build tools that are as simple and intuitive as possible, with a few bonuses here and there. Tell us what would make this one better.

Keeping it fun with old friends

Long friendships come with sore spots, and the whole group knows exactly where they are. The truths here tell the story of the group without digging up breakups or old fights. If someone adds a question of their own, keep the same spirit: a story everyone can laugh at, not a way to settle a score.

  • Friends of friends in the room? Start with two rounds of Random to break the ice without anyone having to choose.
  • On a weekend away, keep score on a napkin and let the winner pick tomorrow's plans.
  • Big group? Let the wheel spinner decide who goes next so the quiet ones get turns too.
