Truth or dare questions for every group

Truth or dare is a classic party game. On your turn, you choose: answer a question honestly (truth) or do a small challenge (dare). This page gives you a fresh truth or dare prompt with one tap, so nobody has to think one up on the spot. It is free, needs no account or app, and works in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer.

All the prompts are clean and kind. There are three levels: kids, teens and grown-ups, with 70 prompts in each. Every dare can be done at home, in a group, with nothing but a little courage and a sense of humor.

How to use this page

  • Pick truth or dare. Tap Truth, Dare or Random. Your prompt appears on a big card.
  • Choose the level. The sentence “For kids” lets you switch. Tap the level to choose kids, teens or grown-ups.
  • Keep playing. Prompts don't repeat until the whole list for that level has been used.

Playing with a big group? The full screen button in the header makes the card easy to read from across the room.

Truth or dare rules

  1. Sit in a circle and decide who goes first. You can let the spin the wheel tool choose.
  2. On your turn, say “truth” or “dare,” then tap the matching button.
  3. Answer the truth honestly, or do the dare.
  4. Play passes to the next person on the left.
  5. Keep going as long as everyone is having fun.

How to play safely and kindly

A good game of truth or dare leaves everyone laughing, not feeling bad. A few house rules help:

  • Anyone can pass. If a prompt doesn't feel right, the player can skip it with no questions asked. Just tap for a new one.
  • No pressure. Never push someone to answer or to do a dare they don't want to do.
  • Keep it kind. Impressions and songs about other players should be friendly. Laugh with people, not at them.
  • Stay safe. Clear some space before any dance or jumping dare, and skip a dare that doesn't suit someone's body or the room.
  • Keep it in the room. What is said in the game stays in the game. No filming or posting without everyone's permission.
  • Pick the right level. Use kids for younger players, teens for middle and high school, and grown-ups for adults.

Variations to try

  • Random only. Players must tap Random and accept whatever comes up (passing is still allowed).
  • Three in a row. If you pick truth three times, your next turn has to be a dare.
  • Team play. Split into two teams with the random team generator. Teams take turns, and a whole team does each dare together.
  • Points. Score one point for a truth and two for a dare. The first player to ten wins.
  • Mix it up. Alternate rounds with would you rather questions for a change of pace.
