Draw from to
A paper roll of double tickets, one half to the buyer and one in the drum, is still the easiest way to run a raffle at a school fair or a club dinner. This page replaces the drum. It opens on tickets 1 to 500: tap the two numbers to match the tickets you actually sold, press Draw, and the reel stops on a number. Read it out, and the buyer with the matching stub claims the prize.
Chance of winning at least one prize, by the number of tickets you hold and the number of prizes drawn. Calculated exactly, with each ticket able to win only once.
| Tickets held | 1 prize | 5 prizes | 10 prizes | 20 prizes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0.2% | 1.0% | 2.0% | 4.0% |
| 5 | 1.0% | 4.9% | 9.6% | 18.5% |
| 10 | 2.0% | 9.6% | 18.4% | 33.8% |
| 20 | 4.0% | 18.5% | 33.8% | 56.5% |
| 50 | 10.0% | 41.1% | 65.5% | 88.4% |
Before selling tickets, check the rules where you live: in the US, raffles are regulated by each state, and many allow them only for nonprofit organizations, sometimes with a permit.
Keep “tickets” and tap the numbers to type the first and last ticket, or switch to “a list of names”, one per line.
Tap “one winner” in the sentence to draw 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 winners at a time.
Press Draw or the Space bar. The reel rolls and stops on each winner, listed as Winner 1, Winner 2 and so on.

Switch to a list of names and paste the sold numbers, one per line. Each line is then one ticket in the draw.
Yes. Tap one winner and choose 2, 3, 5 or 10. The reel reveals them one after another, and each is listed as Winner 1, Winner 2 and so on.
Because some of the draws where you win would make you win twice. A ticket can only win once, so the chance of winning at least once is a little below the simple sum.
