In class, at dinner or in the car
- Morning meeting. One or two questions are an easy way to get quieter students talking, with no right or wrong answer. They also make a great writing prompt: "I would rather… because…".
- At dinner. Instead of "How was school?", try a would you rather question. Kids tell you far more.
- In the car. The questions are quick to read and need no screen to answer, which makes them perfect for long drives.
- Drawing time. Little ones draw the option they picked, then compare drawings with a friend.
There are no wrong answers here, and nobody laughs at someone's choice, no matter how surprising it is.
