Would you rather questions for teens

At 13 or 16, nobody wants to choose between a unicorn and a dragon anymore. These questions are about what actually fills a teenager's week: lockers, group projects, phone batteries, summer jobs, school trips, sneakers and what comes after high school. They are good for a real argument with friends, and none of them touch on dating or anything that would make someone squirm.

How to play

  • With friends, read the question and vote at the same time. Whoever ends up in the minority explains their pick.
  • Call the winner. Before voting, everyone predicts which option will win. Correct predictions score a point.
  • Option three. Once per game, a player can refuse to choose, but only by inventing a third option the group finds convincing.

  3. Get the next one

Tap again or press Next question. The counter shows how far you are, with no repeats until the end of the list.

For parents, teachers and youth leaders

Teens rarely open up when asked directly. A would you rather question is an easier door: they answer as a joke, then explain, and suddenly you are having a real conversation.

  • On the drive to practice or at dinner, one question per trip is often enough to start talking about school, friends or plans.
  • In advisory or homeroom, use a few as a warm-up before a discussion, or to form groups based on answers.
  • At youth group or camp, put the page up in the evening and have cabins vote against each other.

Questions

Are these okay for middle school?

Yes. They work from about age 12 and cover school, free time, phones and the future, with nothing awkward or sensitive.

Can a group play on one phone?

Yes. One person reads the question and taps the option that wins the vote. The counter shows how many questions are left.

How can we make it more competitive?

Keep score: a correct prediction is worth one point, and convincing someone to switch sides is worth two.

Do any questions mention dating or crushes?

No. The questions stick to school, friends, hobbies, phones, jobs and the future, so they work in mixed groups, in class and with parents in the room without anyone feeling put on the spot.

Are these would you rather questions free?

Yes. The page is free, funded by ads, and needs no account or app. It works in your browser.
