Reading the prize table
With 22,910,580 possible lines, the top prize is far more reachable than a Powerball jackpot, and about one play in 8.5 wins something. Unlike Powerball, matching the Millionaire Ball alone pays nothing: you need at least one white ball with it, or two white balls without it.
- A drawing every night adds up. One $5 play a day is about $150 a month. Decide on a weekly amount and stop there.
- Sharing is real here. The “for life” prizes can be split between winners of the same drawing, so a random line is a better bet than a birthday line for keeping a top prize whole. The chance of winning stays the same.
- Delaware, Florida, Maryland and Missouri did not join the new game, so check that your state sells it before planning a pool.
Buy only from your state lottery, at legal age. If gambling stops being fun, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is open 24/7: call or text 1-800-MY-RESET.
