Saturday Lotto number generator

Saturday Lotto is the lottery draw held across Australia every Saturday night. Depending on your state, you may know it as TattsLotto, Gold Lotto in Queensland or X Lotto in South Australia: it is the same draw. In a standard game, you choose six numbers from 1 to 45. Eight balls are drawn, six winning numbers and then two supplementary numbers.

Division 1 needs the six winning numbers, a 1 in 8,145,060 chance. The supplementaries only count in Division 2 (five numbers plus one), Division 5 (three numbers plus at least one). Division 6, the most common prize, is three winning numbers on their own.

Tips for Saturday night

Division 6 is the one you’ll see most, about once every 52 games, followed by Division 5. About one game in 42 wins a prize.
No game is “due”. Every Saturday starts from scratch, whatever came out last week.
Share less, not win more. Lines made of dates and shapes on the coupon are popular, so they are more likely to split Division 1. A random game wins just as often and shares less.
Weekday Windfall is drawn on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, if you want a draw on another night.

What are the odds of winning Saturday Lotto Division 1?

What is Division 6?

Three of the six winning numbers, without a supplementary. It is the most common prize, about 1 in 52 games.

Is Gold Lotto the same as Saturday Lotto?

Yes. Gold Lotto in Queensland and X Lotto in South Australia are the local names of the same Saturday draw.

Why are there no supplementary numbers in my game?

Because players don’t choose them. The two supplementaries are drawn after the six winning numbers, from the same barrel, and only count for Divisions 2 and 5.
