Roll the dice
Roll with .
Five six-sided dice, ready for the classic family of five-dice games. Tap the dice, press Roll or hit the Space bar. All five land at once and their total, from 5 to 30, appears above them. To keep a die between rolls, tap it: it stays in place while the others tumble again.
Five of a kind on a single roll is rare: 6 combinations out of 7,776, or one roll in 1,296. With three rolls and the usual tactic of keeping your most common face, it rises to a little under 5%. Straights and full houses are much more common than people expect on the first roll, a little over 3% and close to 4% respectively. The second table below lists every pattern with its exact count.
The kept dice are marked on screen, and Release all frees them in one tap at the start of the next turn.
