Roll the dice
Roll with .
One ten-sided die is ready to roll. Tap it, press Roll or hit the Space bar, and you get a number from 1 to 10, each with a 10% chance. The average roll is 5.5.
Ten faces cannot be arranged as a regular solid, so the d10 is a pentagonal trapezohedron: ten kite-shaped faces, five meeting at the top point and five at the bottom. Most real d10s are numbered 0 to 9, and the 0 is read as 10. The on-screen die shows 1 to 10 directly, so there is nothing to convert.
If your game asks for dice that show 8 or more, each d10 has a 30% chance of being a success. Roll five and you get one and a half successes on average; roll ten and you average three. Because each die is independent, rolling more dice raises the average, but a roll with no successes at all is still possible: with five dice, it happens about 17% of the time.
10 faces, each with the same chance. Average roll: 5.5.

Most d10s are numbered 0 to 9 so that two of them can be read as a percentage. When you roll a single d10, the 0 counts as 10.
