Pick between and
Every number we write is built from ten digits, 0 to 9. This page draws one of them: the range starts at 0 and stops at 9, and each digit has a 10% chance on every press of Generate. Unlike most ranges on Randooom, zero is included.
Some things need digits rather than numbers: a code, a ticket number, a phone number in a role-play exercise. Tap “a number”, choose how many digits you need (or the next size up) and keep No repeats off, since real codes can repeat a digit. Read the results left to right. For a three-digit code, choose 3; for four digits, choose 5 and ignore the last one.
Many lotteries run daily games in which players pick three or four digits from 0 to 9, often called Pick 3 and Pick 4. Every sequence has the same chance: in a three-digit game there are 1,000 possible sequences, from 000 to 999, and 7-7-7 is exactly as likely as 3-0-8. A random pick will not beat those odds, but it does stop you from always playing the same favorite.
For a die-like choice without zero, use the 1 to 10 page. For two digits at once, from 00 to 99, set the range from 0 to 99.
10 possible numbers. What changes when you pick more than one at a time:
| Numbers picked | A given number is among them (No repeats on) | At least one number twice (No repeats off) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10% | 0% |
| 2 | 20% | 10% |
| 3 | 30% | 28% |
| 5 | 50% | 69.8% |
| 10 | 100% | 99.96% |
The lowest and highest numbers for this page are already in the sentence at the top, and both can come up. Nothing to type before your first pick.
Press Generate or the Space bar, or tap the number. The reel rolls like a slot machine and stops on the result.
Tap how many numbers you want in the sentence to get up to 20 at once; No repeats keeps them all different. Tap either end of the range to type a new one.

10%, one in ten. Zero is exactly as likely as any other digit.
Tap “a number”, choose 3, keep No repeats off and read the three digits in order. Results such as 0-4-7 are allowed, as in pick-3 games.
Because digits run from 0 to 9. Ten equally likely digits are what you need to build codes and numbers of any length.
